Dr. Alex Kennedy

Founder & Executive Director

Alex is a graduate of Nelson University with a Doctorate in Ministry Leadership and Creative Communication, Master of Biblical and Theological Studies and Master of Divinity.
Alex oversees all day to day ministry and administrative operations as the director of Hope Rescued. Developing our team of volunteers to reach the lost and hurting, cultivating relationships with organizations partnering with us in our mission, and connecting with people who believe in, pray for, and give to the ministry of Hope Rescued.
Alex is happily married to the love of his life Destiny, and they also have three children, David (5), Bethany (3), and Hezekiah (2).

Aaron Lansing

Homeless Services Coordinator  & Youth Development

Aaron Lansing comes to Hope Rescued after two years of discipleship training school with Youth with a Mission in Louisville, KY. Prior to coming onto the staff team Aaron served faithfully as a Hope Rescued volunteer.
He currently serves Hope Rescued's team serving in two roles.
Dominantly Aaron works as our Homeless Services Coordinator arranging homeless outreaches and coordinating solutions for those seeking avenues out of homelessness into various resources.
Additionally Aaron serves in a Youth Development role, hosting Bible studies, connecting with teenagers in our community, coordinating youth camps, and other youth development actions. 

Ava Dunbar

Children's Services Coordinator 

As the Children's Services Coordinator of Hope Rescued. Ava is dedicated to nurturing a life long love of Christ in every child. She oversees the implementation of age appropriate and creative programming, with the intention to bring children closer to Christ while accommodating their individual needs.
Ava is privileged to work with a team of volunteers that are devoted to connecting with kids, their families, and their community to ensure the next generation of believers can stand independently on their faith and find solutions of Hope provided by Hope Rescued.

Destiny Kennedy

Anti-Trafficking Outreach & Home of Hope Coordinator 

Destiny coordinates Hope Rescued's outreaches to those experiencing sexual trafficking and exploitation. Destiny helps develop volunteer teams and foster relationships with those experiencing sexual trafficking or exploitation with the goal of bridging them into a practical solution.
Destiny also has taken on the role of leading Home of Hope; a women's drop in center serving women fleeing trafficking & exploitation, domestic violence, addiction, and homelessness with a variety of services multiple days a week.
